Downloaded Software from the Garmin website. Using Firefox as my browser on a Mac. No problems downloading. Works like a charm with my Mac. Through Garmin Connect you get to see charts of your heart rate and laps. Love it. Wish the watch FR60 had GPS sometimes, but it is a smaller watch so they probably can't fit it inside the watch just yet but that's a different review. I do use the watch with a footpod to get mileage. If you need a replacement ANT stick, this works well.
I must say that this process is WAY easier than the Polar process, which frustrated me to no end. The Garmin web site to see all the info is much clearer as well.
This is a breeze compared to Polar own 3 polar watches--two for mostly cycling. And it works on a Mac! According to the owners manual for the Forerunner the stick is "plug and play" meaning everything automatically installs once you insert the usb stick.
This was not the case even though I run a basic Windows 7 OS. The Garmin website's guidance was to install the USB driver for the device which I did along with reboots and still no luck.
After about an hour of troubleshooting I finally discovered via a google search there is software for the Ant stick and once I downloaded that everything worked great. Prior the install, I registered the device and searched meticulously through the documentation and troubleshooting guides and not one mention of separate software for the ANT stick.

Now that everything is installed the ANT stick works awesomely. This perfectly works with my Garmin Forerunner Simple and easy to use. The reason why I gave it four stars is the loop to hook on to a keychain, or something of that nature, is so small, it's hard to attach it to anything without feeling like you're going to break it.
Also because the cap doesn't isn't physically attached, and sits loosely on the device, so I constantly feel like it's going to pop off and I'm going to loose it. What I received was not what was pictured.
After a recent move I had lost my Garmin Stick and could not upload my runs. I ordered this new stick which barely sticks out of my USB port. Now I can leave it in all the time and not worry about it getting broken off from my laptop.
What a great surprise this turned out to be. So small I almost didn't see it when I opened the tiny package-so small I don't understand their desire to charge so much to ship the device. The device didn't like windows 7, but it installed ok on the MAC. For my garmin I expected the ant stick to be the "older" long version that is shown in the picture, but I instead got the tiny little rectangle usb plug-in.
I'm assuming this is the newer version, but as I was specifically looking for the longer one less likely to get lost , I would have ordered from another seller. I am very happy with this. On one of my trainer rides, the reading stopped intermittently. I don't know if it was something with my computer, or a weak signal from one of my sensors. Other than that one time glitch, this has been extremely useful and has given me a way to make winter trainer rides productive. One person found this helpful.
